1. Is there a microwave or refrigerator?

We will have access to a shared microwave and refrigerator in Room 105 in Dixon Hall. The PIN is 959579

2. Are the rooms air-conditioned? Can I adjust it? 

Yes. You can adjust it slightly using the switch in each suite. 

3. Do I need to bring my own pillow?

Yes.

4. Is there any first aid available?

A first aid kit is available in the classrooms at Rickenbach (Where the Child Care is) and in the Multi-Purpose Room of Dixon Hall

5. How long does it take to walk from...

Between Dixon Hall (Dorm) and South Dining Hall: 2 min. walk (500 ft)

Between South Dining Hall and Rickenbach Learning Center (Large Group Sessions): 12-15 min (0.6 mi).  

Between Dixon Hall (Dorm) and Rickenbach Learning Center (Large Group Sessions): 12 min (0.5 mi).

Between Student Recreation Center and Dixon Hall (Dorm):  3 min (0.2 mi)

* Note that Parking will be in back of Rickenbach Learning Center and Dixon Hall

6. Where can we hang out late at night? 

There's a multi-purpose room in Dixon Hall (our dorm) as well lounges on the floors we're staying in. Snacks will be in the multi-purpose room.

7. Where do I go if I'm just coming for the day?

Follow the schedule and depending on what time it is, join us at the designated location. Call Kutztown (484) 793-9176 to get your meal card.  

8. Will there be coffee? 

You can fill up a to-go cup from the dining hall during meal times.  

9. What if I have food allergies? 

The dining hall is certified free from peanuts and tree nuts, and will have options that are gluten-free, dairy-free, and other common allergens. If you'd like to speak to someone in dining, they are available to talk when we arrive. 

10. What if I have a problem with my room or get locked out?
